Mailling/Schönau, 12th November 2020 – the Frischpack Group’s executive group is complete once more: As of the beginning of November, Dieter Baur is taking the chair of this family business. Together with his management colleagues, Horst Luchtefeld and Stefan Welter, the 49-year-old intends to continue furthering Frischpack’s sustainable growth right from the outset. Dieter Baur brings with him a pronounced level of expertise in the commercial sector and supply chain management. This graduate engineer is also extremely familiar with family business structures. After spending several years with Henkel AG & Co KGaA, where he also took on international management responsibility with a focus on supply chains and production, Dieter Baur switched to the family business DALLI WERKE GmbH & Co. KG back in 2012. There he started off as the commercial director before working for the last few years as the corporate group’s managing director with responsibility for all of the company sites. Irrespective of this, Dieter Baur has a sound knowledge of B2B commerce and the FMCG industry, and can therefore also adjust extremely well to the needs of Frischpack customers and suppliers.

"I will make every effort to optimally utilize my previous experience for the further development of the two company sites, Frischpack in Mailling and Baackes & Heimes in Viersen." Dieter Baur’s work will be supported by the two other managing directors, Stefan Welter and Horst Luchtefeld. "With Dieter Baur, we are sure that we have optimally filled the position of Chairman of the Board of Management which was only vacant for a brief period,” commented Barbara von Hagmann, Chairwoman of the Advisory Board for the Frischpack Group. "In addition to his wide range of skills, it was his value awareness that impressed us during our discussions, an awareness that perfectly fits in with the mission statement of our family business.
