The Frischpack Group will be presenting itself as a team for the first time at the ANUGA in Hall 10.1, Stand E61/F60

Mailling/Schönau, 5th October 2019 – From 5th to 9th October 2019, Frischpack from Mailling and Baackes & Heimes from Viersen will be appearing together for the first time ever as the “Frischpack Group” at the Anuga exhibition. The exhibition stand, which can be found in Hall 10.1, Stand E61/F60, is made up of two halves and sports the complementary colours of green for Frischpack and red for Baackes & Heimes. The core competencies of the two companies are cleverly showcased on the coloured surfaces, both individually and as a synergetic whole. As the technological leader, the cheese appetite experts from Frischpack concentrate on the co-packing sector for cheese dairies and customised solutions for industrial and food service customers. This service provider with more than 45 years of experience under its belt cuts an impressive figure with innovative packaging, a wide assortment of cheeses and a large variety of processing methods. The creative cheese experts from Baackes & Heimes also impress with their concepts for the food retail sector which they have been serving for more than 50 years. Such concepts include individual self-service product ranges, product innovations and pre-packing expertise. When you approach the exhibition stand, you will notice how the coloured areas on its front sides boldly emphasise the core competencies of both companies.

Synergies and restructuring
“Our joint appearance underlines the new structure of our corporate group,” was how Marian Heinz commented on the new exhibition stand. “Ever since we acquired Baackes & Heimes in 2017, we have systematically checked our processes. We then set up a new organisational structure at the beginning of 2019 in order to allow us to utilise our synergies even more effectively.” As part of this restructuring process, our customer groups were allocated to a suitable specialist area and an interdisciplinary management team comprising three people was put in place. Marian Heinz remains Chairman of the Board of Management. Horst Luchtefeld acts as the Managing Director for Operations. Stefan Welter, who was previously the Managing Director of Baackes & Heimes, has now taken on additional responsibility as Managing Director of Sales and Marketing. This new arrangement combines the familiar all-round service with the future-oriented specialist capabilities of both companies. As Marian Heinz explained, “Our goal to operate with even greater success in a dynamic market environment with ever increasing competitive pressure, and to offer our customers even greater added value.” “By doing so, we are coming successively closer to our vision of becoming Europe’s most relevant cheese processing company.”
